The Asansör quarter is named after the 19th-century passenger elevator installed to provide access between the upper and lower levels of this hilly neighborhood. The view from the cafe, 50m (167 ft.) up, is as good as anything on the Amalfi Coast. Coming ahead Europe with an aging population and being restored Russia, Asansör Istanbul '05 fair which is held in the center of the Balkan States', Welfare States', Middle Asian Turkish Republics' and Middle East market had been rushed by Turkish and foreign visitors. The fair of which the 9th was held this year, was followed by more than 1.500 foreign visitors from almost 50 countries. Foriegn visitors has reached 10 percent of the total visitors.
